💼 Freshman Seminar students at Mills High School had the chance to practice real‑world skills in mock job interviews with volunteers from the Pulaski County Bar Association.
📝 Students prepared resumes, learned interview strategies, and put their new skills into action. The volunteers were impressed with their professionalism and potential!
🙌 A big thank‑you to the volunteers for investing their time to help our scholars prepare for future success.

👕 Tomorrow is AVID Wednesday! 📣
This week, we’re spotlighting Mrs. Stephanie DeWitt’s kindergarten class at William Jefferson Clinton Elementary. Students recently completed an AVID jigsaw activity on story elements. Each group became “experts” on characters, setting, beginning, middle, or end, and then taught their classmates what they learned.
“It’s been wonderful watching them collaborate, think critically, and deepen their understanding of how stories work! Way to go, scholars,” Mrs. DeWitt shared.
Don’t forget to wear your AVID shirts tomorrow, celebrate student success, and keep building those college and career ready skills!

McAlmont Fall Festival

Join us for the annual fall festival! Bring your family!

It's a great day at Harris Elementary! There is a crew putting on a new roof on our historic gym as we speak! We are thankful to preserve this bit of history! When the new roof is completed, the plan is to repair the beautiful wooden ceiling and replace the floor that has been affected by the leaks. Thank you, PCSSD, for preserving our heritage!

October 21 will be the ATLAS math test. In case you were wondering how to help your child, check out these tips!

Our TREK kids were blessed with a grant to Crystal Bridges Museum in Bentonville today. The grant even paid for us to have a charter bus for the day! The grant was gifted to us by the Walton Foundation. Thank you so much for supporting our future!
